About the Compound Interest tool
Enter a starting balance, an annual rate, a compounding frequency and an optional monthly contribution to see the final value and total interest earned.
Compounding frequency matters: the same 5% nominal rate yields more when compounded monthly than yearly. The calculator uses the standard formula A = P(1 + r/n)^(nt) plus contribution growth.
Everything runs locally in your browser: no data is uploaded, no account is needed, and it works offline once the page has loaded.
